Research Interest

The research activity of Claudio Pettinari has been mainly carried out in the field of coordination chemistry of N-, O and S-donor heterocycles, and/or of ancillary ligands as phosphines and diphosphines toward main groups, transition and rare earth metals and in the field of organometallic chemistry of Sn, Rh, Ir, Pd and Ru.

In the last years the interest has moved to new frontiers and emerging research fields as those represented by MOFs (Metal-Organic Frameworks) and PCPs (porous coordination polymers).
