I am a geneticist with a strong foundation in computational biology, and my research bridges genomics, transcriptomics, and evolutionary biology, with applications spanning human health and plant science. I employ cutting-edge sequencing technologies, including third-generation platforms, and develop advanced computational and statistical approaches to analyze genomes and transcriptomes across diverse systems from ancient specimens and plants to cancerous tissues. Proficient in both bulk and single-cell data analysis, I specialize in cancer genomics and transcriptomics, paleogenomics, and plant/animal omics, with a strong emphasis on multi-omics integration. My work includes generating de novo genome assemblies that provide insights into genome structure, evolution, and functional diversity.
